Sustainable 3 is a resource management simulation game released in 2023. The player assumes the role of a colony director on a terraformed planet facing ecological collapse. The primary objective is to maintain a self-sufficient settlement by balancing energy production, waste recycling, food cultivation, and atmospheric stabilization. The game features a dynamic weather system and a resource depletion mechanic that forces adaptive strategies. Victory is achieved by reaching a stable equilibrium across all life-support metrics for a set number of in-game cycles.

Gameplay is turn-based, with each turn representing one planetary cycle. The player manages four core meters: Oxygen, Water, Food, and Energy. Each meter depletes by a fixed percentage per turn based on population size and building efficiency. Operation controls are mouse-driven. Left-click selects a building or unit. Right-click issues movement or construction commands. The keyboard shortcuts are: B for build menu, R for resource overview, and Space to end the current turn. Tactical techniques include prioritizing water purification plants early to prevent drought penalties. Energy surplus should be stored in capacitors, not spent on excess production, as waste heat increases atmospheric instability. A recommended strategy is the "three-cycle rule": build one food source, one energy source, and one recycling facility every three turns to maintain growth without resource spikes. Overbuilding any single meter causes cascading failures in the other three. The player must also monitor the "Eco-Stress" indicator, which rises if any meter drops below 20% for two consecutive turns, triggering a game-over condition.
