Description

Felon Play - Ragdoll Sandbox is a physics-based simulation game developed by a small independent studio, released in 2023 for PC and mobile platforms. The game places the player in control of a single humanoid character within a fully destructible, open-ended environment. The primary objective is to manipulate the character’s ragdoll physics to perform stunts, cause environmental destruction, or create chaotic scenarios. No narrative or scoring system exists; the experience is entirely sandbox-driven. The visual style is low-polygon with a muted color palette, emphasizing physics interactions over graphical fidelity. The game supports modding, allowing users to import custom maps and objects.

Instructions

Gameplay mechanics center on direct ragdoll manipulation. The player selects a character from a menu, then enters a sandbox map. Controls vary by platform. On PC, the mouse controls camera rotation and zoom. The left mouse button grabs a body part (head, torso, or limb) and drags it to apply force. The right mouse button applies a directional impulse to the selected part. The keyboard keys W, A, S, D move the camera. The spacebar resets the character to its starting position. The number keys 1-4 toggle ragdoll stiffness levels: 1 (floppy), 2 (normal), 3 (stiff), 4 (locked). The F key spawns a physics object (crate, ball, or plank) at the cursor. The G key toggles gravity strength between normal, low, and zero. On mobile, touch controls use a virtual joystick for camera movement and tap-and-drag to grab body parts. A slider adjusts stiffness. Tactical techniques include using low gravity to achieve extended airtime for complex flips, locking the torso while flinging limbs to create spinning collisions, and stacking spawned objects to build ramps or traps. The player can also combine multiple grabs to tear the character apart, though this is purely cosmetic.
