Stumble Man - Ragdoll Platformer is a physics-based obstacle course game developed by indie studio Ragdoll Interactive. The objective is to reach the finish line while avoiding hazards such as spinning blades, collapsing platforms, and swinging hammers. Instructions
Gameplay mechanics center on momentum and balance. The player does not directly control the ragdoll’s limbs; instead, they apply forces to the torso. The primary control scheme uses two buttons: a left and right directional input. On mobile, these are on-screen touch zones; on PC, they are the A and D keys or left and right arrow keys. Holding a directional button applies a constant horizontal force to the torso, causing the ragdoll to lean and stumble in that direction. Tapping the button briefly produces a small push. Jumping is performed by pressing the W key or up arrow (PC) or tapping a dedicated jump button (mobile). The jump height and distance depend on the ragdoll’s current velocity and orientation. Tactical techniques include using short, rapid taps to maintain upright posture on narrow beams, and holding a direction while airborne to rotate the body for landing on angled surfaces. Players can also exploit the ragdoll’s flailing limbs to catch ledges or slow falls by pressing the opposite direction mid-air. Momentum conservation is critical: running into obstacles can be mitigated by releasing all inputs before impact, reducing bounce distance.
