Players progress through levels by clearing grids of colored jelly tiles. Each level presents a specific objective, such as reaching a target score, collecting a set number of a particular jelly color, or freeing trapped garden creatures. The game features a progression system with over 200 levels, each increasing in complexity through the introduction of obstacles like vines, ice blocks, and jelly-eating snails. Gameplay mechanics operate on a standard match-three grid. Players swap adjacent jelly tiles by tapping one tile and then tapping an adjacent tile. A valid swap creates a horizontal or vertical line of three or more identical jellies, which are then removed from the grid. New jellies fall from the top to fill empty spaces. Matching four jellies creates a striped jelly, which clears an entire row or column when matched. Matching five jellies in a T or L shape creates a wrapped jelly, which explodes in a 3x3 area. Matching five jellies in a straight line creates a color bomb, which removes all jellies of a single color when swapped with any tile.

Tactical techniques include prioritizing matches near the bottom of the grid to trigger cascading chain reactions. Players should conserve special jellies for levels with high target scores or dense obstacles. Combining a color bomb with a striped jelly clears all jellies of that color in a row or column. For levels with limited moves, focusing on creating wrapped jellies near ice blocks or vines maximizes tile removal efficiency. The game provides three boosters: a hammer to remove a single tile, a shuffle to rearrange the board, and a +5 moves extender. Boosters are earned through level completion or purchased.
